Montrose Fire Brigade, nestled in the foothills of Mount Dandenong, will be holding their bi-annual Open Day this Sunday the 10th of October.

The brigade officers and fire fighters invite members of their local community and visitors to the Dandenongs, to drop in and share this great family fun event.
Kids will be able to ride a Little Fire Truck and win great prizes for counting Jelly Beans in a Jar, colouring a picture or dunking a fire-fighter.

Mums and Dads will be able to pick up vital Summer Bushfire information as well as purchase home fire extinguishers and fire blankets.

During the day, there will be demonstrations of LPG Flare Off, a vital role that Montrose Fire Brigade performs and Search and Rescue techniques.

You will be able to view Montrose's' fleet of fire-fighting vehicles and Department of Sustainability and Environments "Burn Simulator".

So come along and enjoy a fund raising Sausage Sizzle and take part in the fun.
